About Daniel Kennedy
"Aside from being one of the best paramedics I’ve worked with, Daniel goes above and beyond when it comes to making sure everyone feels seen and heard," said his colleague, Scott Busby. "He leads the new hire orientation and is patient and attentive to anything they do not catch onto immediately. When training on the drill field, he never lets anyone walk alone and will offer encouragement."
"Aside from his work duties, Daniel has mowed lawns for the elderly. He has also worked with companies to get people the necessary equipment to continue living independently, such as hand rails for hallways and bathrooms, as well as railings for beds. He doesn’t do this for notoriety...When he reaches a point where the issue the person is dealing with is too much for him to handle, he doesn’t just ‘forget’ about them and wish them luck. He reaches out to organizations, such as my own, the Desoto Care Team, to use our resources and help individuals," said Busby.
